This is a Coat-of-Arms I made specifically for Sean Renard. The real life Renard seal has a fox (as that is exactly what "Renard" translates to: male fox). I think this is a fitting description of our Sean Renard, since he is having to be as slick and cunning as possible to gain and maintain his foot hold in Portland and beyond. The fleur-de-lis (French: Lily flower) was from a deleted scene in "Game Ogre". It is extremely similar to the Florentine flag but the little bells on either side of the center petal are shorter. It's seen a lot with royalty, so again, a fitting element to include.
Normally, the crown would be above the knight's helmet, if there is a knight's helmet at all, for a royal crest; however, since Sean is having to build his own empire, I felt the two foxes lifting up the lily and lifting up the crown were a far better representation of him right now. I kept the knight's helmet because he is fighting tooth and nail for whatever it is he believes in.
As far as the colors, as in that deleted scene and like the Florentine flag, the fleur-de-lis is red. I felt that silver and black were the best colors, showing the stark contrasts we see in our Sean. One moment, he is the hero, the next he is trying to have someone we like killed. In the world of the royals, he's as common as ragweed and sticks out like a sore thumb (in contrast to the established royals themselves). On a personal level, he's worked exceeding hard at and has greatly accomplished the ability to control his woge moments. We have seen it only twice so far. He despises that half of himself (the hexenbiest) but I think in the end will come to embrace it as much as he has his own royal legacy.
You will also see that the left side of the lily and the crown are distressed and marred, as is the fox on the right. I did this to represent his hexenbiest side as well as bring some balance to it (like when he woges, there is partial morphs on both sides of his body). I debated marring the shield, helmet, flourish and banner as well but felt that might be overkill. I hope y'all enjoy this! Feel free to use and share as is with credit back to me here. Thanks!

Um... *thud!* Sasha, his hot bod, tons of tattoos... yeah, that's heaven right there. Granted, this particular scene from Caprica (where he plays thug mob enforcer Sam Adama) is a funeral ceremony, but still... Yum!
